Opti Work Day
As many of you know, we have been working to get our Opti fleet in the best shape possible by replacing old boats with newish (used) boats and doing repairs on our existing boats. Come help us get our fleet ready from 9 to 3 on Sunday, May 5th. Please sign-up

We now have 16 in house Opti's! Based on our barn day evaluation, 11 boats just need a bit of hull work to be ready to go (rigging check pending). And most of the wood ones are ready to go or just need easy fixes (rigging check pending).
We need lots of help!
Does anyone happen to have some scraps of 4 mm or 5 mm marine plywood? 8" x 8" or so, x4?, or a 1/4 sheet? One of the boats needs new knees. I have some 1/8 birch ply that might work if that's all we have available.
We plan to get line ordered so we can work on rigging.
When our project is completed, it will make life much easier for our Opti sailboat instructors and sailors to reduce rigging time and rigging mistakes due to the cobbled together nature of some of the current boats. Everything will be labeled for each individual boat, more uniform, and much more organized.
