Learn to Sail (Sunfish) MSC101A

Service Description

Note that this class is scheduled for FIVE, six-hour long sessions, but individual classes may be cancelled, if needed, for low-winds or forecast lightning, so we teach at a pace that will allow students to cover all materials and skills within just 4 sessions. If we have good weather for all 5 days you will get extra time to practice on day 5. If we cancel TWO of the five sessions, we will offer a make-up-session on July 14, 2024. But if we are able to hold at least 4 of the 5 regular classes then we will NOT meet on July 14. Typically we only cancel classes if there is lightning of very high winds. We will sail in rain and cold. We will provide a forecast here. Dress appropriately. Bring your lunch. Bring water & sunscreen. (Note: Lunch is NOT provided and there is no where close to drive to for lunch. ********** WEATHER UPDATE FOR MAY 11 CLASS *********** This note will be updated at 7:00am on Saturday May 11th to indicate if the class is "ON" or "CANCELLED". ********************************************************************

Cancellation Policy

LTS class fees are fully refundable if you withdraw from a class at least 14 days prior to the first scheduled day of the class. The Basic Membership fee is not refundable. Contact the Education Director (education@MoraineSailingClub.org) to request a cancellation.
